Like every person working with IT, I wish I had a crystal ball. With it I could predict where innovation, need, and demand will intersect. And, I could make millions! But in absence of the ability to see the future, I think it is important to watch the industry analysts who monitor key trends. Their observations and predictions, while not always perfectly accurate, do give insights and early signs of how technology professionals and their skills will need to adapt. As we start a new year, let’s think about where technology is headed!
